DGS Academic Excellence Award
Congratulations to DGS Staff and Students.
They are recipients of the 2012 Illinois State Board of Education’s Excellence Award for Exemplary Academic Performance on the Illinois Learning Standards!
Across the state, 454 schools earned the award. To earn the award, a school must meet the following criteria:
- Must make Adequate Yearly Progress is 2011-2012
- 90% of students must have met or exceeded state standards in both reading and math for the most recent three years
